A matched set of 4 cast Sterling silver candlesticks made in London during the reign of George II, between 1750 and 1757. Three by James Gould, one by William Gould ( son of James ).Square bases with shell corners and each one engraved with a Phoenix crest.Hallmarked underneath the bases. 23cm high; Heavy guage silver- 2,345 grams ( 75 troy oz).
