A set of 4 George II silver candlesticks made in London 1742 by William Gould. Square bases with incuse corners, sunken columns. Each candlestick is hallmarked underneath with matching hallmarks. Also stamped with lion passant on the capitals. All four are engraved with a stag's head crest.168mm high, 1961 grams, total weight of silver ( 63 troy oz.).
