A Victorian Silver card case made in Birmingham 1839,with cast and pierced decoration and machine engraved sides.The lid is released by pressing the small button on the side. The case was originally gilded and has some of the original gilding present although the silver colour now shows on most of the high spots.Hallmarked on the side as shown, and on the hinged cover.
