Large George III Silver Tea Pot 1806
A large and decorative Sterling Silver teapot made in London 1806 by Peter&William Bateman. Oval form, on an oval pedestal foot. Very extensive floral and scroll chasing ( probably carried out several years later ). Hallmarked underneath,on the cover, the handle, and on the finial. 260 mm maximum height, 310 mm length, handle to spout. 1009 grams. Engraved crest on one side.
