Victorian Silver Dressing Set in Coromandel Box 1856

A large and comprehensive ladies dressing set contained in a polished Coromandel wood box, the box with brass fittings . The 10 glass bottles and jars with Sterling Silver lids and covers, bearing hallmarks for London 1856 by John Howes.The silver tops with decorative hand engraving plus the original owner's family crest of a stag rampant. Included is it's original manicure set. Also a hidden lower drawer which has a push button release.The lid contains a mirror.The top has a brass plaque with the original owner's monogram.Exterior dimensions 31cm x 23cm.The box with inlaid maker's stamp Sampson Mordan.
