Continental solid silver, German Circa 1900.This type of drinking vessel, often associated with hunting, was called a stirrup cup after the practise of having one final drink  " for the road " when one foot was already in the stirrup.Engraved around the cup with scenes from the hunt.The cup also stands upright when rested on the ears and nose.
