Heavily chased and ornate design, with images of goats, fowl, and deer, as well as female masks.Parcel gilt, hallmarked on the lip and the cover, and engraved on the foot with the name of the retailer, "Elkington&Co. Liverpool". Hallmarked on the neck(shown), and on the cover.Made from heavy guage silver, with a total weight of 1170 grams ( 37.62 troy oz ).Inscribed on the front : " Beach Plate 1873 won by Loiterer".
